Celebrating A Sustainable Dorrigo
The purpose of the “Dorrigo Festival of Ideas” is to facilitate a community discussion, celebrating the sustainable effort already underway on the Dorrigo Plateau and design a collaborative community project to improve the sustainability, resilience and community capacity of the Dorrigo Plateau.
The “Dorrigo Festival of Ideas” is a community-based initiative without funding, instead relying on the resilience and wealth of knowledge and experience within our Dorrigo Plateau community utilizing existing human and infrastructure resources for a weekend of sustainability conversations.
There are five events for our community to attend. See further information below. Bookings are only available online. The only events requiring an entry fee is for the dinner with Andrew Harvey ($30 each) and the Rachel’s Farm film ($15 each).

Enjoy the film ‘Rachel’s Farm’ – an inspiring story of regenerative agricultural farming followed by a Q&A panel. Light supper and drinks provided prior to the film screening.

Participate in sustainability conversations as we develop a Local Action Dorrigo project proposal. Hosted by the Purple Card Project (a Dorrigo based Social Enterprise). Bring a ‘Pot Luck’ lunch.
